I’m an editor and writer based in the New York City area.

I run the copy and research department at REAL SIMPLE, where I also write the Nerding Out column about science, history, and cultural topics; edit the book-review column; and contribute articles to realsimple.com, largely on nature and sustainability topics.

As cochair of my company’s environmental affinity group, I plan eco-minded events and initiatives for employees.
